Bad Apples

There's an old saying about bad apples and barrels, and to be fair, it's not unreasonable to find the odd bad apple in a bunch - but when time after time you are pulling bad apples all from the same barrel, you have to start believing there's a contamination problem which is far worse than originally thought.

Some will be aware of the following but many others won’t; we know that Sean Fielding, leader of Oldham council has strong ties to Andy Burnham, as do several others in Oldham Council who have previously been brought into question. We also know that Fielding’s girlfriend acquired herself a nice little earner under Mr Burnham, with a department headed up by Fielding. Nice work when you can get it! So the connections are rather tight one would assume - but let’s not stop there.

Andy Burnham's campaign was staffed by a PR and marketing company called MC2, a company headed and co-founded by a man named Mike Perls.

MC2 must actually like Burnham too as they are mentioned in his declaration of funding for his mayoral campain, so I'd say they are also quite closely linked. In fact Mike Perls is trustee of the Mayors charity and MC2 are one of the corporate sponsors.

In March 2019 a 17 year old Manchester boy called Yousef Makki was stabbed in the heart and killed. His killer was a similar aged rugby playing teenager with an unnatural obsession for knives, guns, gang culture and violent rap music, and used to make videos of himself flailing knives etc. The killers name was Joshua Molnar.

Joshua's mother Stephanie Molnar was director/founder of a chain of Cheshire based nurseries. Funnily enough, Andy Burnham presented her company with an award in May 2019.

Joshua's father, Mark Molnar is Hon General Secretary of the Cheshire Lawn Tennis Association; they are clients of Andy Burnham's wife’s company. This is getting to be quite a barrel of apples!

Shalni Arora, wife of Simon Arora, billionaire CEO of B&M and major contributor to Burnham’s mayoral election is also a friend of Stephanie Molnar and both couples were at Cambridge University together.

During the court case of Joshua Molnar for causing the death of Yusef Makki, Molnar disappeared into the toilets and recorded a Snapchat video to his girlfriend which had a rap soundtrack about stabbing and killing whilst he videoed himself making stabbing gestures!

Molnar was found not guilty of murder or manslaughter; he was sentenced to 12 months for perverting the course of justice, and four months for possession of the knife. He actually served 215 days and is now out!

After the court case, the Molnar family hired a PR company to help protect their reputation. That company was....... Yes, you guessed it, MC2 headed up by Mike Perls! Such was the outrage on social media that Perls deleted his twitter account! Incidentally, Mike Perls was awarded an MBE in June 2019 for services to the city of Manchester!

The stress levels on Yousef Makkis mother were understandably huge during the whole case as all she saw was a privileged murderer being helped at every turn to get away with it. Yousef's mother sadly died this year, her daughter claims it was of a broken heart, I believe her.
